The 2020 Google Play Awards has named Paired as a winner in its Best for Personal Growth category.
The Google Play Awards annually reward excellence in the field of mobile application development on Android. Nominees are selected by a panel of experts on the Google Play team and are chosen for app quality, innovation, and having had a launch or major update in the last 12 months.
Paired launched globally on the Google Play Store in October 2020 and its mission is to make couple relationships happier and healthier. The app combines fun questions and quizzes with tips designed by leading therapists and academics to prompt couples to discuss a range of relationship topics.

Talking about the winners of the Best for Personal Growth category, a Google spokesperson said: “Around the globe, people met 2020’s challenges with personal feats, both big and small. These apps in our Best for Personal Growth category helped us with our own endeavours, from trying new workouts to building resilience.”
Also recognised in the Best for Personal Growth category were Centr, by Chris Hemsworth, Intellect psychological training, Speekoo language learning app and Vimeo Create video editing app.
